Bingo Winner Heads Off To Jamaica

A seventy three two old Harlow woman is heading for the sun after winning more than ₤63 000 at the Mecca Bingo Club in Terminus Street, Harlow. This amazing win came a mere six days before her birthday and she is really going to be celebrating her birthday in fine style this year. She completed full hour in a very surprising number of calls, only thirty six in fact, taking hoe the National Prize of ₤60 340, the Regional prize of ₤3 020 and a house prize of ₤140. (more…)

Mecca Bingo Thinks Outside the Box in Luton

What with the smoking ban and the double taxation imposed on the British land based bingo industry, they have had to become quite inventive in their promotions to get bottoms into the seats of their bingo clubs. One such innovation introduced by Mecca Bingo was a free bus service in Luton.

Mecca Bingo Goes Mobile

US Bingo to Join the Smoke Free Clubs

We have written quite extensively on the smoking ban in the UK and I must say that I was very surprised to find out that this does not apply to bingo clubs in the US as the US has had a clean air ordinance in place for a long time now. Apparently until now this has not applied to bingo clubs and now three clubs are to be made smoke free in the near future. (more…)
